Starbucks use their coffee grind to generate energy to run the store. Highway that uses car vibration to power the street lamp. Cell phone that charges when you talk into it. • Shifting from goods to service. Hawaii is famous for selling leisure service rather than goods. The goods are to support the service rather than the product itself. Sell floral service rather than flowers from Sweet Blossoms. Sell phone service plan rather than the phone from Mobi. Sell dining experience rather than a box lunch. Sell housing service package rather than simply the house. Sell a comprehensive transportation package (bus, taxi, carpool, rail) rather simply a car. Sell entertainment package rather than simply a TV.
