Side Street Inn is coming to the Avenue (by September). No way. Way. I’m always a fan of the pork chops and big salad at the Side Street Inn on Hopaka Street. I don’t know how they manage to put together men, beer, kids, sports bar, family, dating couple all together in one room anyway. If it is coming to the avenue, I definitely will be there. It is central enough that Kapahulu residence can take a nice walk there. For people who hate the lack of parking on the Avenue will welcome the under-the-building-parking at the Prudential location (formerly Hawaiian Dredging headquarter) Hey, don’t forget the bus, the #13, 3 and 14 will get you right at the building. Thank you Colin (Nishida) for choosing the Avenue. Google map 614 Kapahulu Avenue for exact location. You know right at the hub of Date and Kapahulu Avenue. Across from Starbucks, Zippy’s. BTW, Dave’s Ice cream is gone. So now where will I go and get my $6 green tea ice cream cake? Boo-whoo.
