Noise energy converter

You think by next year we may be able to collect energy from our daily routine that otherwise would have be lost? I’m talking about noise energy from our talking, traffic noise, vibration from auto traffic movement and kinetic energy from our walking. We need a devise that can collect all of this small energy and allow for reuse. Imagine sustainable cell phones that can do without battery or other form of electric power. It gets its power from the users’ talking. The device is similar to our eardrums which collect air vibration energy from the user’s chatter and capture it.

Imagine similar device are mounted near freeway and the traffic noise energy can be collected and use to power the street lamps. Imagine the drummer of a band can power the mic for the next gig. Imagine a battery recharger that is in the heel of our shoes. It turns our walking or running energy into useable energy for our small devices such as the mp3’s, hearing aid, or cell phones. Imagine a layer of vibration energy collector is place underneath the top layers on a freeway. It can collect the weight transfer of vehicular traffic into usable energy. Any takers? May be Sam Sung or Nokia for the noise energy converter. Toyota or Nike for the highway energy converter.

This Humdinger Windbelt by Shawn Frayne is somewhat related. Low energy capture device that can be cheaply made is the way to go. Shawn is from Honolulu by the way.
