When I was driving down Kapahulu Avenue, makai direction, it reminded me of driving down I-5 south from Seattle to Tacoma. The different is instead of Mount Rainer, we have Diamond Head as the back drop for the road. Along the way are some fine automobile – Curry Mobile from Indian Cafe, and a clean fire truck is a common sight on the Ave.
